The Martin County Bar Association (" MCBA") offers a wide variety of Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities for individuals, businesses, and other organizations interested in offering opportunities and other beneficial services to its members. Below, please find a few of the advertising opportunities currently available to our sponsors:
The SideBar Newsletter
Of course, the most obvious method of advertising would be to purchase an ad in our monthly newsletter, the SideBar. You may want to take a look at our current issue, currently available on the MCBA website. In addition to being available on the MCBA Website, the SideBar is printed in color and distributed to all members via regular mail and/or e-mail, as per their preference. We have both individual and bundled contracts for your review. The Annual Banquet
Another wonderful opportunity for advertisers is to become a sponsor of the MCBA Annual Banquet. Our next Annual Banquet will be held on May 19, 2012 . Each year, our banquet typically features a Cocktail Hour, Seated Dinner, and Entertainment. In addition, the Annual Banquet is the venue at which the new MCBA Officers are sworn in. The Banquet presents very unique and successful marketing opportunities for sponsors given the large turnout, numerous posters, invitations, programs, website listings, flyers, and other announcements made in connection with the event. Sponsors are encouraged to support individual portions of the Annual Banquet, such as the cocktail hour, entertainment, invitations, programs, or other elements, or may, of course, sponsor the event via a monetary donation. The attendance at our 2011 Annual Banquet was our largest turnout to date, sold out with over 250 attendees. Monthly Luncheons
Advertisers are welcome to sponsor one of our Monthly Luncheons held the third Friday of every month at Monarch Country Club in Palm City, Florida (August – May). Advertisers typically sponsor the meals, or contribute to the lunch via a monetary donation towards the event. Our monthly luncheons feature speakers from various walks of life, and include the opportunity for our members to earn CLE credits. A list of speakers and the menus will be listed on the MCBA website under "Monthly Luncheons" as they are confirmed. The cost to be the exclusive sponsor of a luncheon is $2,500; custom co-sponsorships are also available.
Annual Fall Judicial Reception
Each year in the Fall, the Judicial Relations Committee of the MCBA holds its Fall Reception to welcome new MCBA members, and to honor all Judges in the 19th Judicial Circuit. The upcoming Fall Reception will be on December 8, 2011 at the Kane Center in Stuart and is a formal event with appetizers and cocktails, and features speakers from our local judiciary. Advertisers typically sponsor the appetizers, cocktails, and other expenses associated with the event. Cocktail Hours
The MCBA holds Cocktail Happy Hours for its members. Please visit our website at www.martincountvbar.org for more information on the next Happy Hour. Advertisers typically sponsor food and drinks, or sponsor via a monetary donation towards the event. We typically see a turnout of approximately 15-30 members. Sponsors are announced at the preceding monthly luncheon, and in any flyers or other correspondence distributed to members. Annual Canoe Trip
Each year in the Spring, the Young Lawyers Division of the MCBA holds the Annual MCBA Spring Overnight Canoe Trip. Mark your calendars for February 18-19, 2012 for the next one (note new date). Last year, nearly 40 judges, attorneys, and their family members successfully navigated Peace River, camped overnight, and canoed back up the river collecting valuable memories along the way. The trip was an enjoyable event for all and we look forward to hosting again in 2012. Advertisers are encouraged to sponsor the Canoe Trip via a monetary donation toward the event.
